Isaiah Hudson, Week 5, Swagga

We learned about stereotypes. They are bad. I did a crossword. I learned about helping the homeless.

Isaiah Yarberough, Week 5

Money isn't always good for homeless people because they may use it for bad things. My favorite part was the homeless people crossword puzzle. I learned about stereotypes and that we shouldn't hold them.

This week we made signs out of cardboard and statistics. Then we took a video of it. Also it is going to be a commercial and maybe on TV. I learned that some people who have jobs dress as homeless people to give the homeless food and clothes. A stereotype is a group of something that is not true like homeless people are dirty.

This week we talked about homeless people and stereotypes. One thing I learned this week was in 2009 there were over 3,400 homeless people in Baltimore. I also learned that stereotype is when someone put everybody into 1 group or when you judge a group. One thing I will remember from this week is that not all homeless people don't have a degree. Also people can help homeless people b giving them socks and food.

This week we talked about homelessness. One thing that I learned is that homeless people ask for money. I also learned that stereotypes are when you judge a group of people. I also learned that some homeless people do drugs or alcohol. 54% of homeless people in the U.S have been incarcerated at some point.

If I were homeless, I would get some cardboard, find something to write with, and I would write, "Please help me!" I would write please, help need food, home, and clothing. Most importantly family! I am grateful for family, friends, food, water, clothes, and a home.

If I was homeless I would be sad and I would be mad and I would have no place to live and I am thankful because some people do not have clothing and love and care so I am thankful. I would have a sign that says God bless.

This week we talk about homeless people. I learned that almost 50% of homeless men in Baltimore are over the age of 45.

If I was homeless I would be sad and I would cry. If I was homeless I would try to find a job to get a home. I am grateful for a home, food, water, clothes, shoes, and family.

Don't give homeless people money, because they can spend it on drugs. My statistic was over 62% of homeless people in America suffer from alcohol abuse! What I learned this week was we talked about homelessness, we also did signs like homeless people do. Question: I just wanna know, where do they get their markers and cardboard from?

40% of homeless men in america are veterans. We learned what statistics are which is what people think about a group that is not always true. All homeless are mean is a stereotype.

This week we did crossword puzzles and made signs to represent something about homeless people. We are also working on a play. The play is a benefit play. We had lots of fun and how today we are making houses.

Week Five: Homeless and you should care for the homeless. About 39% of Homeless people suffer from mental health issues. Homelessness stereotypes are not good to have.
